ABSTRACT:
Urban water scarcity in India is exacerbated by "invisible" domestic wastage. This study introduces Aqua Guard IOT, a low-cost, 3D-printed retrofit device designed to curb shower wastage through real-time behavioral feedback. Utilizing a Hall-effect flow sensor and ESP32 microcontroller, the device tracks water volume and provides instant visual cues via an RGB LED ring. Consumption data is synced to a mobile app for community benchmarking. This innovation targets a 25–30% reduction in household water use, offering a scalable solution for water-stressed cities.
