ABSTRACT:
As India undergoes rapid digital transformation, the complexity of technical exploitation has evolved. This paper analyses the technical classification of cybercrime based on official National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2023 statistics. It examines the technical infrastructure of attacks registered under the Information Technology Act and broader cybercrime categories. By evaluating computer-related offenses and specific motivational vectors like technical fraud, this study provides a structural blueprint for understanding how digital vulnerabilities are being exploited in the current technological landscape.
